Road Transport / Percent of Road Networks (KCCA, Urban and District) in Fair to Good Condition

The condition of paved KCCA roads in fair to good condition increased by 13% from 49% in FY 2015/16 to 62% in FY 2020/21 and the unpaved KCCA roads in fair to good condition increased by 9% from 61% in FY 2015/16 to 70% in FY 2020/21. 

The condition of Urban paved roads in fair to good condition increased by 18% from 67% in FY 2015/16 to 75% in FY 2020/21 while the condition of unpaved urban roads increased by 0.3% from 49.7% in FY 2015/16 to 50% in FY 2020/21.
Under the unpaved category, urban roads have consistently had the lowest proportions of condition in fair to good.

There was an increase of 10.1% in the condition of District Unpaved roads in fair to good condition from 59.1% in FY 2015/16 to 69% in FY 2020/21.
